KUNDALINI YOGA TEACHER

Sharlene has been teaching the Kundalini Yoga tradition, as taught by Yogi Bhajan, in Calgary, since 2009.  She specifically serves women who are students of self discovery and seek restorative healing.  Sharlene weaves together meditation, stories, and practice.  Her teaching style makes the wisdom tradition of Kundalini Yoga a powerful exploratory approach for our modern times.

Sharlene is a “nourisher of potential” specializing in meaning, purpose, and connection.

Passionately commited to causing a positive affect in women’s’ lives, she leverages her gifts by teaching people to transform their mind, body, and soul through Kundalini Yoga Medical Meditations.  Imagine what’s possible!

CERTIFICATIONS

Sharlene is internationally certified as a Level 1 Kundalini Yoga Instructor and a Level 2 Kundalini Yoga Practitioner through the International Kundalini Research Institute (KRI) and is a Professional Member of the 3HO International Kundalini Yoga Teachers Association (IKYTA).  She has begun her Level 3 Kundalini Yoga training by completing the first component, 21 Stages of Meditation.  She has over 700 hours of Kundalini Yoga specific training and has travelled around the globe to study with 14 different Master Level teachers, giving her a unique insight into the nature of consciousness, healing, and the human condition.

Sharlene has had the privilege to learn with many Master Teachers in the Kundalini Yoga community including:  Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa, Gurushabd Singh, Guru Singh, Gurucharan Singh Khalsa, Sat Dharam Kaur, Har Prakash Singh, Snatam Kaur, Guru Prem Singh, Yogi Amandeep Singh, Sat Siri Kaur, Harijiwan Singh, Tej Kaur Khalsa, Awtar Kaur Khalsa, Siri Neel Kaur Khalsa, and Guru Meher Singh.  Her areas of focus include:  Practical Enlightenment, Authentic Relationships, Conscious Communication, Mind & Meditation, Emotional Self Therapy, Yoga of Mantra, Kundalini Yoga & The Gong, Beyond Addictions, Vitality & Stress, Awakening Kundalini, and more.
